Céide Fields, Co. Mayo.

An extensive network of ancient stone-walled fields that date back almost 6,000 years, making them one of the oldest known agricultural sites in the world. Buried beneath layers of peat, these fields reveal sophisticated farming techniques and a complex prehistoric landscape, providing a remarkable glimpse into Neolithic life. The site, with its visitor center, offers a unique window into early human settlement and land use in Ireland.
